Coldwell Banker Bain, which provides real estate brokerage services throughout the Pacific Northwest, recently announced that Jim Kallerson has been named principal managing broker of its Kirkland office.

Kallerson most recently served as the assistant managing broker of the office, which was a title he held from 2009 until this year. Since joining Coldwell Banker Bain in 2000, he also served as assistant principal managing broker for its Lake Union office.

During his tenure at CB Bain of Kirkland, Kallerson maintained a sales production level of Diamond Club, and mentored many of the newer brokers who joined the office.

“We are excited that Jim is taking on this role in such an extremely active market,” Barb Hindle, CB Bain’s chief revenue officer, said in a press release. “I am confident he will continue the office’s legacy of providing the best possible client service.”

“My new position is coming at an exciting time as Coldwell Banker Bain of Kirkland is moving to a new location closer to downtown Kirkland next to the new Kirkland Urban project,” Kallerson said in a press release. “We plan on continually making the Coldwell Banker Bain of Kirkland office the premier place to work at on the Eastside as a real estate broker.”

Marc has lived in the Puget Sound area for the past five years,  Prior to relocating to the Pacific Northwest, Marc lived and worked in the New York City area, where he enjoyed an extensive career in the apparel industry.  Marc was a sales executive for many well know clothing brands such as Quicksilver (Surf),  Simply Blue (Christopher Blue/Jag Jeans), and Campbell Chase Jeans. He also worked in the real estate industry for a time with the Corcoran Group.

Marc has three grown children, a daughter age 28, she lives in Manhattan and works in Public Relations,  another daughter age 25. Manhattan NY-Engineer,  and a son 22 who is attending the University of San Diego School of Law. He is looking forward to his oldest daughter’s wedding next December. 

Marc’s hobbies include Paddle boarding, skiing, photography, sketching, and reading. We asked Marc if he could travel anywhere in the world where would he go, and why. He responded that he would like to go to India, because he spent time there for his work in the apparel business and he enjoyed the people and the culture there.
