Payment Center is a convenient and secure way to move money into DCU and to make payments and transfers to your DCU Accounts. It puts you in control so your money is where you want it, when you want it there.

How it Works

To get started simply login to Online Banking, go to Account Manager and choose Payment Center which is located in the toolbar under Payments/Transfers. The Payment Center system has four links to help you schedule payments and electronic transfers.

  1. Add/Manage Remote Accounts: Add your Checking and Savings Accounts from other financial institutions. You can also View, Edit, or Delete your remote accounts whenever needed.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Can I change a recurring payment?
Yes, if your payment isn't already processing, Edit and Delete can be found under Manage Payments in Payment Center. If Edit and Delete are not available the payment is already processing and cannot be modified or canceled.

Q: Can I change a one-time payment?
A one-time payment set up to occur within 48 hours cannot be modified or canceled once it has been submitted.

Q: How much time will it take to process my payment?
A payment or transfer requires 48 business hours to process.

Q: What is a Routing Number?
A Routing Number is a nine digit number used to identify a financial institution. Routing Numbers can be found on the bottom left-hand side of your check or by contacting the financial institution. DCU's routing number is 211391825.

Q: What is a Remote Account?
A Remote Account is a savings or checking account that you may have at a separate financial institution outside of DCU.

Q: I have an ACH that was set up prior to Payment Center. How can I manage it myself?
If you have a DCU ACH already set up that you would prefer to manage yourself with Payment Center, please call us at 800.328.8797 to cancel your existing ACH.

Q: Are there minimum and maximum payment and transfer amounts?
Yes, the minimum amount is $0.01 and the maximum amount is $2,500.00. The credit card payment maximum amount is your ending statement balance or $2,500.00 – whichever is greater.

Q: Can I pay more than the amount due on my loan?
Yes, you can pay twice the amount due. For example, if your loan payment is $300 per month, the maximum payment allowed is $600.

Automatic Payments made by ACH

To schedule a recurring monthly payment from an account held at KeyBank or another U.S. bank or financial institution, complete and submit our ACH form. You select the date you want your payment withdrawn monthly, so you’ll know your payments are made on time. Remember, if that date happens to fall on a weekend or federal holiday, your payment will be processed the next business day.

ACH activation usually takes five business days after we receive your completed form, so continue to make your payments with another method until you receive written confirmation of your enrollment in ACH from KeyBank Mortgage.

If your mortgage servicing was transferred to KeyBank and you were already using ACH for payments, you don’t need to complete a new form – your payments will remain uninterrupted.

What should I do if I’m late on my payment?

If your account is not overdue beyond 60 days, please contact us at 1-866-325-9677. If your account is more than 60 days past due, please contact us at 1-866-325-9653.

What do I do if I missed my payment?

If you missed a payment, please contact us at 1-866-325-9677.

My address changed for my mortgage, where do I get an address change form?

To change an address, the primary mortgage holder can call 1-800-422-2442 or use the form on the back of the detachable stub that comes on your monthly mortgage bill.

I have misplaced or have not received my monthly invoice. Do I still need to make a payment?

Yes, you must still make your payment. If you want to, you can view and print copies of your monthly statement in KeyBank online banking.

You can pay your bill through online or mobile banking, by phone, by mail or at a nearby branch, without having your statement with you.

To confirm the monthly payment amount, call mortgage customer service at 1-800-422-2442.

When are my payments due?

Most of KeyBank’s mortgages are due on the 1st of the month, but please refer to your loan closing documentation, first payment letter or monthly statement to confirm your payment date, or call mortgage customer service at 1-800-422-2442.

Can I make my mortgage payment with a credit card?

No. Your monthly payment must be drafted from a checking or savings account.

Will you accept less than the total amount due?

In certain situations, we will accept a partial mortgage payment. However, it cannot be applied to your loan until we have received enough funds to satisfy a regular payment. To learn about your options, call mortgage customer service at 1-800-422-2442.

If you are having difficulty making your payments, visit our Borrower Assistance. We may have a program available to assist you.

If I make an additional principal payment to my loan, how will the funds be applied to my mortgage?

Once your regular payment has been satisfied, any additional funds left over will be applied to your mortgage as a "Principal Only" payment. Note, we can only process the principal payment if your current month’s payment has been received, your loan is not delinquent and you have no outstanding fees.

If my payment is due on the 1st and I have a 15-day grace period, when would a late charge be assessed?

Late charges and grace periods vary in accordance with the mortgage note. Most mortgage payments are due on the 1st of the month and have a 15-day grace period. If your payment is not received before the grace period ends, a late charge will be assessed at the end of business on the 16th day.

I need help making my mortgage loan payments. Who can I contact for assistance?

Hardships can come in many forms. Unemployment, decrease of income, declining property value, divorce, injury or illness – these are all considered hardships. If you are experiencing a hardship that is making it difficult for you to pay your bills, there may be help.

If you are having difficulty making your payments, visit our Borrower Assistance page. We may have a program available to assist you.

My loan is currently set up for ACH service. What happens if my mortgage payment is returned due to insufficient funds?

If your mortgage payment is returned due to insufficient funds, we will send a letter to notify you that your payment has been returned. You will need to use a different payment method (like making your payment at a local branch or paying by phone) to make up this payment. Once your loan is current, the ACH service will go back into effect on the next scheduled payment date.

I would like to change or cancel my ACH Service. How do I do that?

You may want to adjust the amount of your payment, use a different account or make another change to your ACH payment service. To do so, complete and submit a new ACH Form with the new information.

To cancel your ACH payment service, call 1-800-422-2442 or write us at 4910 Tiedeman Rd., Brooklyn, OH 44144. It usually takes three business days to process your request, and when you cancel by phone, an ACH cancellation letter will be mailed to you on the date the service is canceled.

Electronic Statements

What is an e-statement or paperless statement?

Electronic statements are available online for your convenience and the safety of your account information. There are no fees to receive your statements online. When you receive them electronically, you reduce the risk of identity theft, eliminate having to store them, and get immediate access to view, print or save statements/documents.

How do I sign up to receive my mortgage statement electronically (by e-statements or paperless statements)?
  1. Sign on to KeyBank online or mobile banking.
  2. Select the mortgage account.
  3. At the top of the screen, select "statements."
  4. Change the "Enroll in Paperless Statements" toggle to on (green) and read and agree to the "online statement and document delivery authorization" disclosure.

Once you’re enrolled, your statements will no longer be mailed to you in paper form. You may change your preferences at any time by following the above steps and clicking the toggle button again.

Payoff Information

How can I pay my loan off more quickly?

The best way to pay your loan off more quickly is to make additional principal payments in addition to your required minimum payments. This will save on interest and shorten the length of time required to pay off your loan in full. If your account is current and you satisfy the required minimum payment, any additional payment you send is applied to the principal balance on your loan. If you prefer, you can also use the transfer feature in online banking and select "Principal Only." As a reminder, principal-only payments do not satisfy your required payment for the cycle and your regular minimum payment is still due.

How do I obtain payoff information for my KeyBank mortgage?

When will I receive the papers verifying my loan has been paid in full?

A paid-in-full letter is mailed 7 business days after the loan payoff is posted to the account. Additional documentation will be mailed in accordance with state guidelines.

How long does it take to receive the remaining funds in my escrow account after my loan is paid in full?

A check will be issued within 20 business days of the date your loan is paid in full.

If I am closing on my house, or have requested a Payoff Statement, do I still need to make my payment this month?

Yes. It is important that you continue to submit your monthly payment as you normally would. If your payment is submitted using our ACH program, notify us at least 3-5 days in advance of the next scheduled draft so your ACH can be canceled. Should the payment be deducted from your bank account after your loan is paid in full, we will return it to you within two weeks.

How to make a one-time loan payment with Fast Pay

With Fast Pay, you can quickly make same day payments online until 7pm PT without having to create a login or password. There is no fee to use this service and payments can be debited from your Patelco account or an external bank account. 

To make a payment with Fast Pay, you’ll need your Patelco Member Number (which can be found on your monthly statement), and the routing number and account number from the bank account you wish to use.

  • No. Fast Pay is separate from Patelco Online™ and does not require a username or password. Each time you use Fast Pay, you will need to verify your identity by inputting your Patelco Member Number and the last four digits of the Social Security Number of the primary account holder on your loan.

  • Fast Pay is available for quick same-day online payments only. If you want to make online payments in advance or setup automatic payments on your loan, we recommend using Patelco Online™ or the Patelco Mobile App.

  • No. You will only need to enter your bank account details once and save it for future use.

  • We’ll send you an email confirmation with your payment details. If your payment is made before 7pm PT, your account will be debited within the same day.

How to make a loan payment by phone (automated)

With automated payments by phone, you can make payments 24/7 with no fee – and we’ll credit payments the same day if made before 7pm PT.

Making phone payments from an external account

  1. Have your member number and 2-digit loan number handy (they’re on your monthly statement, which is accessible in Patelco Online™)

  3. From the main menu, select 1 for balances, transfers, and recent activity
  4. Follow the instructions to access your account, including providing your Member Number and PIN
  5. When prompted, select Credit Card Payments or Loan Payments and then make a transfer using a Patelco checking or savings account to make a payment

 

How to make a loan payment by phone (assisted)

During our business hours, we can help you make a payment by phone using your Patelco account or an external account, for a $10 fee.

  1. Have your member number handy (it’s on your monthly statement, which is accessible in Patelco Online™)
  2. Call 800.358.8228 during our business hours
  3. From the main menu, follow the prompts for all other transactions

How to make a loan payment in a branch

Visit one of our local branchesto make a loan payment using your Patelco account, a check, or cash. We’ll credit your payment the same day.

 

How to make a loan payment by mail

We accept loan payments by mail via check. Follow the instructions included with your loan paperwork. If you’re not sure where to mail your loan payment, send us a message in Patelco Online™ using the MESSAGE CENTER widget. 

Make sure to include your member number and 2-digit loan suffix when mailing your payment by mail. These numbers are on your monthly statement – see them now by selecting the ACCOUNTS widget and then the Statements tab in Patelco Online™.

 

  • If you have a Patelco mortgage or HELOC and want to close it, you can easily pay off your loan within online banking (after which we’ll close it). You can also pay down your HELOC to a zero balance and keep it open. Simply log in and select the MORE widget then tap on MORTGAGE PAYOFF. Then select the account you’d like to make a payment from and the loan account you’d like to pay off. (If the account is a HELOC, we’ll also show an option for paying it down to zero, keeping it open, versus paying it off and closing the account.)

    To pay off any other loan types, please visit a branch or call us at 800.358.8228.

  • Payments made by phone or with Fast Pay will be credited the same day if made before 7pm PT on business days. Any payments made on a holiday, weekend, or after 7pm will be credited the following business day. 

    Payments made online will be credited the same day if made before 3pm PT on business days. Any payments made on a holiday, weekend, or after 3pm will be credited the following business day.

    Payments made in a branch using cash, checks, money orders or transfers from Patelco share accounts will be credited the same business day (or the next business day if made on a Saturday).

  • If you want to make a payment by phone, have your member number and 2-digital loan number ready. Find your member number and 2-digit loan number using the ACCOUNTS widget and then the Statements tab in Patelco Online™.

    If you’re making a payment using an external account, you will also need to have that account’s routing number and full account number. 

     

  •  Yes, use the TRANSFERS widget in online banking then select Add an external account to enter your account information. 

We do not charge a fee for online ACH transfers. We do not charge a fee for making a phone payment using our automated phone system; payments made by talking to a Patelco team member by phone to manually create a transfer may result in a fee. Automated phone payments made before 7pm PT will post the same business day; automated phone payments made on weekends or after 7pm PT will post the next business day. Payments via transfer from an external account made online before 3pm PT will post the same business day; online transfers from an external account made on weekends or after 3pm PT will post the next business day. Initial setup of online transfers from an external account may take up to 3 business days; initial setup is required before ACH payments and/or transfers can be made.

Payment Center Details

Payment Center is a convenient and secure way to move money tri counties bank toll free number DCU and to make payments and transfers to your DCU Accounts. It puts you in control so your money is where you want it, when you want it there.

How it Works

To get started simply login to Online Banking, go to Account Manager and choose Payment Center which is located in the toolbar under Payments/Transfers. The Payment Center system has four links to help you schedule payments and electronic transfers.

  1. Add/Manage Remote Accounts: Add your Checking and Savings Accounts from other financial institutions. You can also View, Edit, or Delete your remote accounts whenever needed.

Q: Can I change a recurring payment?

Q: What is a Remote Account?
A Remote Account is a savings or checking account that you may have at a separate financial institution outside of DCU.

Q: I have an ACH that was set up prior to Payment Center. How can I manage it myself?
If you have a DCU ACH already set up that you would prefer to manage yourself with Payment Center, please call us at 800.328.8797 to cancel your existing ACH.

Q: Are there minimum and maximum payment and transfer amounts?
Yes, the minimum amount is $0.01 and the maximum amount is $2,500.00. The credit card payment maximum amount is your ending statement balance or $2,500.00 – whichever is greater.

Q: Can I pay more than the amount due on my loan?
Yes, you can pay twice the amount due. For example, if your loan payment is $300 per month, the maximum payment allowed is $600.

How to make a one-time loan payment with Fast Pay

With Fast Pay, you can quickly make same day payments online until 7pm PT without having to create a login or password. There is no fee to use this service and payments can be debited from your Patelco account or an external bank account. 

To make a payment with Fast Pay, you’ll need your Patelco Member Number (which can be found on your monthly statement), and the routing number and account number from the bank account you wish to use.

  • No. Fast Pay is separate from Patelco Online™ and does not require a username or password. Each time you use Fast Pay, you will need to verify your identity by inputting your Patelco Member Number and the last four digits of the Social Security Number of the primary account holder on your loan.

  • Fast Pay is available for quick same-day online payments only. Bank of america mortgage pay by phone you want to make online payments in advance or setup automatic payments on your loan, we recommend using Patelco Online™ or the Patelco Mobile App.

How to make a loan payment in a branch

Visit one of our local branchesto make a loan payment using your Patelco account, a check, or cash. We’ll credit your payment the same day.

 

How to make a loan payment by mail

We accept loan payments by mail via check. Follow the instructions included with your loan paperwork. If you’re not sure where to mail your loan payment, send us a message in Patelco Online™ using the MESSAGE CENTER widget. 

Make sure to include your member number and 2-digit loan suffix when mailing your payment by mail. These numbers are on your monthly statement – see them now by selecting the ACCOUNTS widget and then the Statements tab in Patelco Online&trade.

 

  • If you have a Patelco mortgage or HELOC and want to close it, you can easily pay off your loan within online banking (after which we’ll close it). You can also pay down your HELOC to a zero balance and keep it open. Simply log in and select the MORE widget then tap on MORTGAGE PAYOFF. Then select the account you’d like to make a payment from and the loan account you’d like to pay off. (If the account is a HELOC, we’ll also show an option for paying it down to zero, keeping it open, versus paying it off and closing the account.)

    To pay off any other loan types, please visit a branch or call us at 800.358.8228.

Payments via transfer from an external account made online before 3pm PT will post the same business day; online transfers from an external account made on weekends or after 3pm PT will post the next business day. Bonus Offer

Earning Points

Base Rewards Tier: Earns (i) one (1) point for each dollar you spend for net retail purchases (gross retail purchases less any returns or credits), (ii) three (3) points for each dollar you spend for net retail purchases in the follow rewards category: gas stations (2 additional points on top of the 1 point per dollar earned on net retail purchases), (iii) two (2) points for each dollar you spend for net retail purchases in the following rewards categories: restaurants and travel (airlines, auto rental, and lodging) (1 additional point on top of the 1 point per dollar earned on net retail purchases).

Rewards Categories: Merchants who accept Visa credit cards are assigned a merchant code, which is determined by the merchant or its processor in accordance with Visa procedures based on the kinds of products and services they primarily sell. We group similar merchant codes into categories for purposes of making reward offers to you. We make every effort to include all relevant merchant codes in our rewards categories. However, even though a merchant or some of the items that it sells may appear to fit within a rewards category, the merchant may not have a merchant code in that category. When this occurs, purchases with that merchant won't qualify for rewards offers on purchases in that category.

Businesses may earn up to 10,000 points per calendar month, excluding bonus points. Points earned are available for redemption for a 3 year term. Points expiring during the year will be cleared from the Program Account on the last day of the month in which they expire.

Rewards Redemption

Businesses in the Base Rewards Tier may redeem points for (i) cash back to a First Citizens checking or savings account or credit card statement credits, (ii) credit towards a First Citizens personal loan or mortgage principal, (iii) Pay Me Back statement credits, (iv) travel rewards, including bank of america mortgage pay by phone tickets, hotel, car rentals, cruises and tours, (v) retail gift cards and certificates and (vi) merchandise and (vii) donations.
