Farmingdale State College delivers your refund with BankMobile Disbursements, a technology solution, powered by BMTX, Inc.  BankMobile Disbursements will mail and email information on how to select your refund preference.

As soon as you have selected your refund preference, any refund processed will be delivered based on the method you have selected.

Please ensure that Farmingdale State College has your current mailing address.  To view your address(es), log into OASIS and click on the Personal Information link.  In order to update your address, submit a Change of Student Information form to the Registrar's Office. The form can be found on the Registrar Forms page of the Farmingdale State website.

Our school delivers your refund with BankMobile Disbursements, a technology solution, powered by BMTX, Inc. Visit this link for more information: https:// bankmobiledisbursements.com/ refundchoicessso/. 

The first refund payments for Spring 2022 will be sent electronically to BankMobile on January 25, 2022. Students whose lenders send only paper checks must come to the cashier's section to endorse those checks beginning January 26, 2022. All subsequent refunds will be sent electronically to BankMobile weekly beginning on January 31, 2022.

For new students or students that have not made a selection, you will need to log into LeoNet in order to make your selection via a link to BankMobile.

In order to reduce delays, students should select their refund preference with BankMobile as soon as possible.

 

Instructions to make a selection in LeoNet:

  1. From the MyDen webpage, click on the box for LeoNet.
  2. Log into LeoNet and select Self Service >Campus Finances and then click "Select Refund via Bankmobile".
  3. After clicking, a box will appear that notifies you that by clicking the "Setup Refund Selection Profile" link, it will redirect you to the BankMobile® site.
  4. Click that link and once on the BankMobile site, select your refund preference following directions on the BankMobile site.**

    **Please note- if you have previously made a preference selection, then you will need to use            the login link to make any changes to your BankMobile profile.

How do I receive a refund of unused monies associated with tuition, fees, and/or financial aid from the University of Houston?
If you have a credit balance on your account as a result of financial aid “feeding” to your account; then that money will automatically generate a refund to you without any action on your part. If the credit balance on your account is created for another reason then you will need to sign in to your myUH self-service account and request the refund. For students who pay with credit card, their credit refund will apply back to the original card.
What is the refund policy regarding adding/dropping classes?

What are my refund options?
You have two options:
  1. You can elect to have your refund deposited to the bank account of your choice;
  2. You can have your refund deposited to a BankMobile Vibe account
Can I have my refund directly deposited/transferred to my personal bank account?
Yes, you can have the refund sent to your bank account at the bank of your choice (U.S. Bank). You may do this by entering your banking information, as located on the bottom of your check, at the following website: refundselection.com.
How long does it take to have my refund deposited/transferred into my personal bank account?
If you select this method of refund, money is transferred to an existing account the same business day BankMobile receives funds from UH. Typically, it takes 1 – 2 business days for the receiving bank to credit the money to your account.
What is the BankMobile Vibe Account?
Generally speaking, the BankMobile Vibe is an optional account through BankMobile where students may elect to receive refunds from the University. Again this is optional; the University recommends that you set up direct deposit. For more information regarding the BankMobile Vibe account, please visit http://bankmobile.com.
What is BankMobile Vibe?

Student refunds/ BankMobile

To receive any refunds from the University, a student must select his or her refund preference with BankMobile.  For more information about BankMobile, visit this link: http://bankmobiledisbursements.com/refundchoices/.

Once registration occurs, a Personal Code will be sent to the email address on record with the school.  Once the email is received, simply follow these steps to make your refund preference selection:

  • Follow the link in the email provided
  • Enter your personal code (Found in the email)
  • Select how you’d like to receive your money

Your options for receiving your refunds are:

  • Deposit to an existing account – Money is transferred to an existing account the same business day BankMobile receives funds from your school.  Typically, it takes 1 – 2 business days for the receiving bank to credit the money to your account
  • Deposit to a BankMobile Vibe account – If you open a BankMobile Vibe checking account (upon identity verification), money is deposited the same business day BankMobile receives funds from your school.

Frequently Asked Questions

The most common type of money BankMobile disburses to students is funds left over from financial aid offers, loans or grants after tuition has been paid. Other types of money may include reimbursement for tuition overpayment or a dropped class.

Mail: Look out for the green envelope, your code will be sent to the address you have on file with Troy.
Email: BankMobile will send you an email with your code.

You may use any personal code assigned to you to make your refund preference selection.

Delivery of refund money is a multi-step process. First, TROY draws funds from the respective loan and/or grant provider and applies it to your student account. Once this information is verified, it is sent to BankMobile.  Once the specific refund information is received, it is processed and disbursed according to your selection.

Yes.  Just log into RefundSelection.com and select “refund preferences” from the “Refund” menu option.  Once on the page, simply make your new selection and click “Update Preference” button to complete the process.  Be aware that your selection will only impact future money you receive from TROY.

BankMobile will send you an email to the address you entered during setup.  You can also view the status online at RefundSelection.com.
